My Story
I’m a learning experience designer with over 19 years of experience creating digital learning that helps people build skills and grow in their careers. My work focuses on designing engaging, business-aligned learning solutions that turn complex topics into practical, meaningful experiences.
I’m passionate about the digital learning space and enjoy creating innovative blended learning experiences that combine thoughtful design with the right technology. I’ve also contributed to the implementation and administration of learning and talent systems that support scalable learning across organizations.
When I'm not designing learning experiences, you'll find me spending time with my husband, two kids, and our mini bernedoodle. We love to travel and spend time outdoors, and I’m often cheering from the sidelines at their sports games or watching their performances. I also love getting creative with party planning and bringing fun ideas to life for family celebrations.
My Design Philosophy
Learning works best when it connects to a larger purpose. When learners understand why something matters, engagement and motivation follow. I keep people at the center of my design process while aligning every experience with business goals and outcomes.

I apply a human-centered design approach to deeply understand learners and deliver impactful learning experiences that are flexible, empathetic, and collaborative. Because learning takes many forms, designing with the learner at the center creates more personalized experiences—driving higher engagement, stronger knowledge transfer, and increased productivity.
Make Learning Interactive
I design learning experiences that are active rather than passive, using a pull-based approach to learning. I create interactive content that gives learners a compelling reason to seek out information, using realistic scenarios that place them in real-world situations. My goal is to make learning immediately relevant—so learners understand how to apply new knowledge on the job and how it connects to the broader business strategy.
Make Learning Fun
I believe learning should be fun, offer choices, and create meaningful experiences. I often incorporate game elements and thematic design to make content more compelling. Storytelling is also central to my approach—stories capture attention, provide context, and help learners connect with why the content matters.
Make Learning Visually Compelling
I focus on creating visually compelling learning experiences that clarify and reinforce content. Poor or overly complex design—such as excessive colors, fonts, or animations—can distract from learning and reduce effectiveness. I strive to strike the right balance between creating content with a purpose, adding thoughtful creative design and meaningful context, helping learners focus, retain information, and apply knowledge in real-world situations.
