How to Manage Remotely eLearning
The Challenge
With COVID-19 lock-downs and working from home regulations, people leaders were in need of training that addressed working and managing their teams in a remote environment. For many, working remotely was new and many leaders were facing one of the hardest managerial situations of their career. HR Business Partners and HR Leadership were getting inundated with requests for a quick training that provided concrete tips for adapting to the "new normal" while also recognizing the different needs of teams and individuals.
The Solution
A just-in-time, short interactive eLearning course with a purpose to encourage and empower people leaders to cultivate the right environment for their teams by offering practical tips for thriving through uncertainty and being flexible and empathetic towards different working situations. Leaders are busy and need to quickly digest content. The learner has control of what they want to experience first with real-life branching scenarios for practice and application.
The Result
Increased practical learning through an interactive, bite-sized elearning that was implemented within 2 weeks of identifying the training need.
Learner reviews were so positive that we were asked to create another version for employees and then later update the material to be more relevant and timely to the current environment of hybrid work.
